I hope this finds you well. Firstly apologies for the late notice of this invitation to our annual Celebration service. On the last Sunday of January each year we gather together to give thanks for the last year and look forward to the year ahead.

We have also taken the opportunity to say thank you to those who have served our church family in different ways.

This Sunday (25th Jan) we would like to say thank you to you, for your service to our church family through the committee.

You served as part of the church committee of either 1st or 2nd Islandmagee beginning in 2019.  The term for the committee is usually 3 years, however with our amalagmation in Jan 2023 we continued with a combined committee for another 3 years and have only in recent months appointed a new committee.

That is why we are only now taking the opportunity to say thank you.

For many of you it has not just been this last term on committee but you have faithfully served the church families in Islandmagee for many years. You have been involved in many aspects of church life from property, to fund raising, to finance and often giving of your time and talents in many ways. For all these things we are so grateful.

We would love for you to join us on Sunday at 11:30am when as part of the service we would like to give you a small token of our appreciation. (Altogether you are one of 12 people.) We will invite you to come up and sit at the front but you won’t have to stand up and won’t be on your own!

If it doesn’t suit for you to join us on Sunday can I say thank you on behalf of our church family and we will get a small momento of your time on committee across to you in due course.

At the beginning of a new year I do hope and pray that you know God’s peace and presence with you and your family.
