The first stage of our Presbytery Reconfiguration Process

is the completion of the questionnaire as linked to below.

If you haven’t already done so - please do consider involving your Kirk Session in this process.

They will soon be involved in this process through an initial meeting with the Presbytery Working Group, who will be coming to hear from your Kirk Session concerning their thoughts about Fruitfulness and Sustainability in your ministry context.

The following versions of the questionnaire can be printed off as you need them.

Dear Colleague

Thank you to those of you who have already submitted data for your congregation via Jotform; there is no need to do again - your submission has already been emailed to the presbytery reconfiguration of ministry (RM) convener.

For those of you who have still to complete the form, we have amended the form slightly so that you and your RM convener will automatically get a copy (via the jotform platform) as soon as the form is submitted.

Continue to use this link when submitting your data: https://eu.jotform.com/assign/243033315493350/250063577022046

Add in your email and the email of your presbytery RM convener which is: pbovill@presbyterianireland.org.

Statistical Information - 2003, 2008, 2013, 2018 and 2023

Email Dated 28th Nov from Deputy Clerk

RECONFIGURATION COMMITTEE

28 November 2024

Dear Colleague

Please find attached spreadsheets providing statistical information for the following years: 2003, 2008, 2013, 2018 and 2023.

This information is being sent in the hope that it is helpful when completing the Jotform Reconfiguration of Ministry Data Gathering Form.

Ministers are encouraged to gather the necessary information at kirk session meetings so that elders have the opportunity to discuss the statistics relevant to their congregation and reflect on the descriptive responses required. For that reason, I have also attached a pdf of the Jotform document for circulation to elders in order to facilitate discussion in kirk session meetings.

Helpful Herald Articles re the Why and Now of Reconfiguration

Email Dated 22nd January from Deputy Clerk

RECONFIGURATION COMMITTEE

 22 January 2025

 Dear Colleagues

I pray that you know the enabling and blessing of the Lord as you serve Him in 2025.

As part of the sharing of information about reconfiguration of ministry, you will have seen an article in the December/January Herald, with another included in the February edition due out this weekend.

To complement the Herald publications, the two articles are attached, with the request that you would share them with others please – most importantly with sessions, but also, as you see fit, among congregational members.

Please feel free to share them electronically, or to print and distribute.

If it is helpful to use them as part of a session, or wider, discussion on reconfiguration, please feel free to do that also.

 The first article deals with

Why PCI has embarked on this process, click HERE

and the second on

How we are seeking to carry it forward - click HERE

In all of this, please encourage folks to pray about this, to call upon God to pour out His Holy Spirit upon His Church and upon this island, and to give us all that we need to be His Church now and in the days ahead.
