DON’T FORGET TO KEEP YOUR STAMPS UNTIL WE RETURN TO CHURCH
As Christmas cards start to come through your door this year we are asking you to join us in collecting your used stamps for the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) The RNIB is one of the UK’s leading sight loss charities and a number of people from our church family have benefited from their work. Simply cut stamps off any letters or cards you receive but make sure you leave 1cm of envelope or packaging around each stamp. It helps if you can separate British from foreign stamps. Collect your stamps at home and in January, we will let you know a couple of dates when you can bring them to church. RNIB raises £20 for every kilogram of stamps. You can visit their website https://www.rnib.org.uk/ to read more about the work they do.
We are using Paul’s prayer for the church in Philippi as our own prayer for each other in our church family here in Islandmagee. Click the picture below to find the prayer and guide for your own personal time with God. Let’s be faithful and persistent in praying for each other.
