NOON PRAYER:

Lord,in the middle of this day I pause to lift up our church and our community. Strengthen Your church - fill us with love, wisdom, and courage to serve others well.

Bless our community with peace, hope, and a growing hunger to know You.We name before You now those on our hearts...

(pause to name individuals silently or aloud)

Strengthen relationships, heal the lonely, restore brokenness, move in impossible situations and cover every home with your protection.

Stir hearts to seek Jesus, and guide your church to share your life-changing love in every corner of our community.

Move mightily in this land, we pray.

Amen.

CHURCH - TUESDAY 1ST SEPTEMBER

1.Pray for all who come together to make up our congregation - children, young people, young adults, the middle-aged, senior citizens, men and women, married and single. Pray that God would light up our church’s times of worship by his presence. Ask God for a fresh awareness and experience of him as our church family gathers to worship, pray, learn from the Bible, and enjoy fellowship with one another.

2.Pray for the different ministry activities in our church each week - our Sunday Service, Kingdom Kids, Creche, Seedlings, GB, BB, Teen Bible Study, IMPACT Youth, Coffee&Chat, Small Groups, PW, Soul Space and Messy Church. Ask God that these times would provide spaces where people of all ages can be equipped on how to know and follow Jesus in today’s world. Pray for strength and protection for each leader.

3.Pray for wisdom, strength , and a continued unity amongst our church leadership; including our Minister, Kirk Session, Committee and staff. Pray for vision and a growing spirit of confidence amongst them as they discharge their duties. Pray for discernment for God’s will and His priorities for this coming season of life and witness. We pray for every member in our church family , and know that we are one body in Christ working for God's glory.
