Monday 6th Oct - 9.30pm in Kilcoan Church

After harvest we get together to take down the harvest decoration and also to distribute the fruit, flowers and vegetables to members of our church family. Any help you could give us both in taking down and distribution would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone who would like to be involved in decorating the Church for harvest would be really welcome on the afternoon of Saturday 4th Sept from 2pm.

No experience is required but your help would be appreciated. The church will also be open from 12noon if you want to leave any items for decoration i.e. fruit, vegetables or flowers.

You can catch up on two services this week! Yesterday we continues in our autumn series ‘Loving Your Church by Walking through Life Together’ and looked at verses from 1 John and asked the question about what gets in the way of loving each other? You can also watch the service we recorded back in June for BBC 1. We trust you find encouragement and challenge in them both.

The latest edition of our church magazine is full of information of what is happening in the coming months - Enjoy the Read!

A community Alpha course is taking place on Monday nights 7.00 – 9.00 pm in the Gobbins centre at the Greedy Gannett, starting on 29 September.  Each evening begins with a meal.

The Alpha course provides an opportunity to explore the Christian faith and ask any questions you may have in an open, friendly environment. It’s for any adult who’s curious, no matter their beliefs or background. Anyone who is seeking answers to the big questions of life and wanting to know more about God is welcome.

If you know anyone who might be interested, please invite them to the course and come along with them. You can find out more about alpha at www.alpha.org. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to speak to Peter and for more details of the local course
