We are really looking forward to the opportunities that Christmas brings to connect with our local community.

We are especially excited about the return of Messy Christmas on Sunday 10th December. This is a great opportunity for the whole of our church family to celebrate Christmas with our local community.

As we begin to pass out invitations we hope that you might consider joining us and being part of the Messy Christmas team. There are lots of opportunities from helping with craft / welcoming people and chatting to those who come along.

We are especially looking for people to help with our Christmas refreshments - warming mulled punch / providing baked festive goods.

Do speak to Katherine or sign up on Sunday morning if you can help.

In recent years our PW have facilitated us taking part in the Samaritans Purse shoe box appeal.  This year PW have come up with a slightly different opportunity to support Samaritans Purse.  At the front of church for two Sundays (19th & 26th) there are envelopes pinned to a board with suggestions of gifts from the Samaritans purse catalogue ranging from £5 up to £28.  (see below) The idea is you take an envelope place the amount of money inside and return it to a basket which will be in the vestibule. The cut off point for this appeal will be Sunday 3rd December.

You can also visit https://www.samaritans-purse.org.uk/gift-catalogue/ and buy online.

Thank you in advance for your generosity.

Praying for Protection

We praise you and thank you that the battle is won and the Devil has already been defeated by Jesus’ death, resurrection and ascension. Thank you Father that you are faithful to us and we pray for your protection, for our church family, our families and ourselves, from the schemes of the devil. Protect us by your Holy Spirit and help us to trust in you.

We have been encouraged as our Youth and Children’s ministries have begun over the last weeks, including BB, GB, Impact Youth and our Sunday morning Kingdom Kids and YPOD. To find out more visit our Youth and Children’s page by clicking HERE.

If you would like at any time to speak to Peter our minister don’t hesitate to contact him. He would be delighted to hear from you.
