Thank you for visiting our Service Extras for Sunday 16th October.
Do scroll down for information and announcements related to our church family. Don’t forget to make your way to the bottom for some songs that I hope might encourage you today …
Last Sunday we continued our series of ‘Love Your Church’ and were considering the importance of ‘Caring’ in the life of our church family. As we gather we are given the privilege and opportunity to ‘one another’ our church family. If you were not able to join us you would be very welcome to click below and join us online.
Together as a church family we considered how God changes us from the ‘inside out’ as our lives display the Fruit of the Spirit. Here’s a song for the kids (or those who feel young at heart) that reminds us of the Fruit of the Spirit.

Church Family Prayer Tree // On Sunday we continued our "Love Your Church" series by exploring how we are biblically called to care for one another well by displaying the fruit of the spirit to others, especially those in our church family.
This week, as you continue to pray for the names listed on your prayer leaf, we encourage you to ask God to reveal how you might demonstrate more of His love and care to that person/household. You can use the prayer in the graphic above to help you in this.
Showing love and care for those in our church family may involve starting up a friendly conversation on a Sunday morning, or even asking how you can practically support someone during the week - we’d love to hear your ideas of how we can care for and love one another more! #loveyourchurch
If you didn't have the opportunity to attend the PW conference in May 2022 you might be interested to listen to Amy Summerfield's talk. She spoke at both the morning and afternoon session and was really encouraging, challenging and inspiring. If you would like to listen to her first talk click on the link below. It is so encouraging about going deeper with God and deeper with one another, following the example of God himself as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. In the coming weeks we'll share the link to her second talk of the day.
While doing some clearing out I came across a letter and some photographs from the end of the 19th century that I had been sent and mislaid. The request is going back a number of years now, but if the name ‘Emily Douther (possibly Souther)’ rings a bell with you click HERE to see if you can be of help. Do get in touch if you might have some information. Thank you.
We are pleased that work at Lunnon Church to clear and clean the building as agreed by the committee will begin shortly.
As you pass in the coming days you may see some equipment delivered this week with further equipment and work beginning next Tuesday. This work will be taking place for several months.
This will have an impact primarily on the car park to the side of the church building. During the day, parking will not be possible in this car park and parking in the evenings will also be reduced.
Thank you for your patience and understanding in the coming weeks.
