In our service today we were considering the role of God’s word in our lives. We are so fortunate to have such easy access to hear from God through his word. That is not the case for so many people around the world. The work of Wycliffe Bible Translators and other translation / bible organisations is to bring the word of God into the heart languages of people groups and individuals around the world.

Why not take the time to find out more about the work of Wycliffe and how you might support them.

DON’T FORGET TO KEEP YOUR STAMPS UNTIL WE RETURN TO CHURCH

As Christmas cards start to come through your door this year we are asking you to join us in collecting your used stamps for the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) The RNIB is one of the UK’s leading sight loss charities and a number of people from our church family have benefited from their work. Simply cut stamps off any letters or cards you receive but make sure you leave 1cm of envelope or packaging around each stamp. It helps if you can separate British from foreign stamps. Collect your stamps at home and in January, we will let you know a couple of dates when you can bring them to church. RNIB raises £20 for every kilogram of stamps. You can visit their website https://www.rnib.org.uk/ to read more about the work they do.
