We continued our sermon series through the Old Testament book of Isaiah on Sunday morning. This week were took time to consider chapter 14 and what we might learn from God’s judgement on the King of Babylon for his pride along with considering the call to walk humbly with our God.

Yesterday in our service we had an update on the work of Scripture Union in our local area and Jax McCallum our local E3 worker. Please join us in praying for Jax and the work of Scripture - please find her latest monthly prayer news and information about her work in our local area.


Each month The Girls Brigade produce a prayer diary including praying for companies. This month we are encouraged to prayer for the GB company here in Islandmagee on Tuesday 19th April 2022. Do join us in praying for Claire, the leaders, the girls and young ladies who attend on Monday evenings. Pray for them as they meet for their last number of evenings for this session.

Do note the different activites over Easter especially our Good Friday Day of Prayer and our Tenebrae Service on the evening of Good Friday.

PLEASE also note the change in covid-19 restrictions taking place from Sunday 10th April. These can be found on page 4 of the church magazine. In short, there is now NO need to book to come to church and there is no requirement to wear a face covering or to socially distance.
